Dr Shienvold brought his biased opinion to my custody trial. He represent my ex-husband and his lies without ever meeting me. He represented opinions about my children without ever treating them. Dr. Shienvold is the leader of the parental alienation movement. He charged $88,000 for a custody evaluation and advocates for custody being given to the abusive parent, disbelieves reports and evidence of abuse and suggests a formula that removes custody from the protective parent and no contact for a minimum of 90 days through the use of the cottage industry of reunification camps that charge up to $10,000 per day. Complete waste of time and money! This "doctor" conducts biased, incomplete interviews which leads to biased incomplete reports. My family was in a very bad place when we went to Dr. Sheinvold. We were hoping he could help. We were wrong. He's in this for the money not the children and essentially cuts/pastes his reports from incomplete interviews. His process, professionalism and understanding of children was a complete disappointment.. Run away as fast as you can!
