I just want to give a shout out to the arms room staff. We've been shooting there for years. Not often enough to be considered preferred or even regulars. I brought my husband's rifle in to get sighted and have the screws loctighted. $30s for both no problem. However when he came back with both finished in under 20 mins he told me no charge. Great place. Went yesterday for a training class. The staff were all awesome.
The Arms Room is my very favorite range in Texas BAR NONE! The staff and instructors are all very knowledgeable and friendly. I especially enjoy the level of instruction that I have received in the various courses that I have taken. I find the coursework engaging and enlightening and the staff is thourough and committed to our proficiency with our firearms. I especially appreciate the high level of safety required on the range.
Took Pistol 1 a few weeks ago. Really enjoyed the class with Jeff. Intro and safety. Most important of all the class was not intimidating. Today was a one on one lesson with Spencer. He very patiently assessed my skills, instructed, and then assessed again after practice. If you are thinking of learning more about safe handling of guns and how to improve your shooting performance I recommend these two instructors and the Arms Room.
The range facility is pretty great but there always a crazy wait. The retail should not even be there. I’ve never gone into this place that thy had what I was looking for. Today it was Glock magazines. Last time it was a pretty common firearm that I could pick up at any one of 5 or 6 gun stores around. In their defense they always offer to order it but I can get these things anywhere. Retail store is useless....
