I have been coming to this Vet office since I moved to Va for the past 20 yrs.. Excellent staff! They care for my babies just as much as I care for them.. Very clean, patient and caring! I would travel 2 plus hrs to come to them rather than starting over with a new Vet closer to me..

My dog Tazz was boarded there from June 28, 2019 to July 5th and when we picked Tazz up on the 5th, our dog was not the same! Armistead Avenue Veterinary Hospital was only supposed to have treated him for an ear infection. He was vomiting everyday and not eating. I called you all several times and requested information and blood work to be done on Tazz but you all couldn't find anything wrong. You all wanted to do an X Ray for $388 but I refused and got an 2nd opinion from another vet. The new vet did an x-ray and couldn't f... read more

Armistead Vet Saved our Dachshunds life. I cant express how grateful my family is for Dr. Mike Silkey, and Dr. Adams for their hard work and compassion for our family member.
I can't say enough good about these vets and the staff. Saved my Pooh from seizures, helped Baby's renal failure, and now really helping with Houston's multiple medical issues. He is a complex case with no prior history because he is a rescue Dalmatian. But the vet is getting him squared away. Houston was a rescue reject from prior adopting owner. She let her boyfriends dog chew on him, neglected health issues, and then put him on Craigs because he was falling apart. I got him and the vets here have done wonders for Houston,... read more
Dr. Jones is AMAZING! Her enthusiasm and genuine love for her patients goes above and beyond. Missy and Hillary are amazing too. My precious little Kali finally got sprung from the hospital last Friday. She was been one very sick little lady last week. We got her home and gave her all the love and kisses she has missed all week. Big thanks to Dr. Silke, Dr. Jones and staff at Armistead Avenue Animal Hospital for the great care all week.
