My vizsla was treated for a cut on her leg; Doc Vera used very little sedation since it was such a clean cut. It makes my heart happy that the staff cares so much about the animal's welfare! I've been bringing my pets to the Drs Silkey for 30 years!!
When looking for a vet for my new puppy I will admit I was pretty tough on who I would go to.There were a lot of veterinarians to choose from and I did my homework. Armistead Ave Veterinary has been wonderful. The minute you arrive you are made to feel welcome, you and your pet are warmly greeted and within a short time you are meeting with a doctor. Wonderful staff and doctors. I was very please with the compassion and service they gave us. It's always hard to have to let your animal go. But the staff at this hospital was so great and understanding.
The Doctors Silkey (Mr. and Mrs.) have attended to my family's pets for more than 30 years. Over the years, because of demand, they have expanded with new doctors and their staff is exceptional. From the front office all the way to the back, their staff is friendly, caring, loving, professional, and very knowledgeable. I would not trust my pets anywhere else.
