Dr. Friedli has been a God send! Our son is very high functioning autistic & ADHD. He hasn't been the easiest to manage. Yet, Dr. Friedli "gets him" which is more valuable than words can describe. We are also thankful for being able to avoid the Shands "zoo" even if we pay out-of-pocket. I personally credit Dr. Friedli for our child's ability to enter school, blossom and thrive. Rarely find a doctor this knowledgeable about the science behind the treatment plan. He spends a significant amount of time with his patients and I believe he genuinely cares about their well-being.
Just had a so so session a few weeks ago in regards to my treatment plan… Charged $250 for a 15min session. Very steep for little value.
Saw him for many years and stopped seeing him because I moved. Moved back to town recently, and he refuses to treat me. As relayed by his secretary - Friedli says it’s been more than two years (it actually hasn’t been), ergo I would be considered a new patient, and he doesn’t prescribe what I’m on (i.e. what he had been prescribing me for years) to new patients.
