Disappointing experience despite excellent service We visited the Armdale Yacht Club on a beautiful evening in July. The restaurant was pleasantly busy, but unfortunately our dining experience was disappointing. The first thing I noticed was that my wine glass was dirty with visible stains. After looking around, I realized several of the glasses on our table were the same. Our server quickly replaced mine when I asked. A hidden gem in Halifax with beautiful waterfront views and a very relaxing patio. The food was delicious, especially the lobster roll on challah bread, it was a great combination. We also heard they have live music on Fridays, which makes me want to come back. Rudy, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better.
My father and I had lunch today. The view is unbeatable, with a lovely ambiance. The chowder was great but a disappointing beet salad.
Good services, good shelter and friendly staff. Coming from Europe, it looked very expensive, though, which looses them one star
