Wanted to stop when we saw the freeway sign, but they were closed. Why have a sign on the freeway if you aren't open travelers hours?
I went to the Central/ Callahan location for the pulled pork Sunday Special this evening (6/12/16) and got the 50% off carry out deal!! It was some of the best I've had in a while. The pork was very tender, moist, and flavorful. Good smoke ring and smoky flavor! I've had Arthur Bryant's pulled pork in KC, and I personally liked yours better. There's was swimming in a sauce that I wasn't crazy about, plus I like to see the actual meat, smoke ring, etc. Then apply the sauce of my choice as needed. My wife didn't even use sauce... read more
