Yeah, I have been reading all about this fiasco your little restaurant of yours has conjured up, and that was NOT funny and NOT a joke, contrary to what you guys thought. I support police, but if clerk truly asked manager to process credit card because he was so swamped (the food was already there at the window, people) and manager truly made the remark to the police officer as a poorly timed joke, this is way overreaction and manager should not have been fired.
You should be ashamed! If there was a robbery or some other issue in your store, that very same officer and others would risk their lives to protect your employees, customers, and property. The manager in question should be dismissed! I don't believe that this is not a company policy. If it is a boycott is in order!!!!

I think the entire thing was overkill. And over a joke!!! The manager probably has a family at home. My sympathies are with that man and his family.

BOYCOTT ARBYS!! Both Kenneth Davenport and manager Angel Mirabal need to be fired and until they are, our family will not eat at any Arby's, every again. Since I was a little kid, Arby's has been my favorite chain. I don't know why? The stores and their bathrooms are some of the dirtiest of any other chain.
