cute hair salon – I came to this salon by my friend's referal. I just moved to the neighbourhood and was looking for a new salon. When i came for my appointment I felt this great atmosphere right away... Everyone there was very friendly and helpfull. Needless to say I received a great cut and made an appointment to get my hair hilighted the next week!!! I highly recomend this salon for everyone who is looking for an outstanding service....
I'm Underwhelmed – I went to AR because it is located close to my work and when I looked it up on CitySearch, there were fabulous reviews for the place. I don't think my experience was horrible but it wasn't great either. The salon itself is the size of my closet. That aside, when I was being shampooed a worker sat in the shampoo chair next to me eating a smelly cheeseburger and fries. It was awkward getting shampooed next to someone who was eating. fabulios – Fun, and a great cut/color at the same time! After hearing about MARK,c and seeing his cuts and colors on my drends, I joined whem at an appointment and I've been going to the shop ever since. There is relaxed, happy, , and it's an easy place to spend time while waiting for that color to do just that right shade. Mark is absolutely great with hair and cares a great deal about the decisions he makes with you regarding cut and color. I feel so lucky to be part of this hair family.
chic and ,trendy . – I found AR Salon on City search. Its amazing to find a reasonable priced salon a blocks away from meat pack , etc. Mark did my highlights and they came out beautiful. I have received numerous compliments. Mark cut and blew dry my hair which also came out great. A visit to AR salon is the perfect end to a days of happiness!
Good Location , Always Accommodating, Good hair cut without all the fuss/muss – I realize haircuts can be a very personal thing. Johnny at AR has been cutting my hair for several years. He always listens to what I want, gives feedback or suggesstions, but then follows my wishes. He is very consistent and I always feel like he is "focused" on my hair when I am there, as opposed to other stylists that seem to flit between 2 of 3 customers at once. ox can not be better – For the last three years I have been searching for the perfect stylist and colorist. None of the salons I encountered came close to providing a wonderful haircut and color at an affordable price. Instead, I often left looking the same as I entered . Great job! I couldn't be happier. – I went to AR Hair salon two weeks ago for some layers in my hair and highlights but hadn't decided on a style. Roger made a few suggestions and I took his advice. I came out with what had to be the best haircut i ever had. Roger (the stylist) took into considation some concerns I had about length and color and even gave me tips on how to style my hair at home. Really bad haircut – Walked in there during my lunch hour to get a hair cut. Stylist named Johnny greeted me, asked what I would like done with my cut. After I told him to just trim it a little bit, he took his clippers and completely screwed up my hair. Cut it way too short and when I asked him why did he do it he said "dont worry it will grow." Seems like he didnt care at all, could have gone to a barber shop and gotten a haircut for less money. Definitely would not recommend this place!
