Filing our home claim for storm damage to our roof has been the absolute worst experience imaginable. We are going on 6 MONTHS of this claim with little to no response and our claim getting handed off to multiple different claims agents where we have to start all over with each one. Our contractors have consistently sent them what they request in a timely manner and State Farm continues to go no response and no contact for weeks or more at a time until we pester them enough to get any sort of answer. Do not use State Farm. This company is terrible. I have had State Farm for over 25 years and have never endured the service and treatment that I am receiving now. I will never recommend this company to anyone and I hope that any person looking for home, car, or whatever read these posts. Trust me you will get your invoice to pay for your insurance, but don’t file a claim. You have to fight for what you have paid into for years.
State Farm offered me a good price to move my car insurance AND home insurance from ********. My ******** policy was cancelled by state farm and weeks after taking payments and "insuring" my home, Stste Farm alerted me that they refuse to underwrite the home policy. The pictures submitted by the agent were blurry, were from a distance and did not show accurate pictures of our roof. The worst insurance ever, they are good to take your money only
I got a flat tire at my job I do private duty nursing and I was at my second job for that day. I called the office to make sure I had roadside assistance I did I was sent a number to call to initiate the roadside assistance, the prompts were trying to make me go on a website and fill out a form online for the roadside assistance. I am not terribly tech savvy, so I just kept waiting for the prompt that would tell me a customer service rep would help me and it never did it just kept prompting me to go online to the link. If I could give 0 stars I would. They approved my claim and even though my car is paid in full they refuse to pay me for my damages. They discriminate towards woman as my fiancée had the exact same claim, same place same time same damage and they did his with no issues and have been giving me issues from day one. I have already reported them including claim handler Christy T****, her manager Monika and Jen Monika’s manager. They raised my premiums by double within a year and I have had no accidents or tickets. They are great about taking your money but when it comes to filling a claim don’t expect them to help or to do anything at all I have filed a complaint with the insurance commissioner. I have been discriminated against because I am a female and they are just TERRIBLE. If you want to escape a headache and actually have an insurance company there for you when you need them STATE FARM IS NOT THE INSURANCE COMPANY FOR YOU!
State Farm is absolute trash. Somehow I was selected for $10,000 deductible. And they won’t let you change it for 3 years which the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of.
I have been with State Farm Insurance for several years, and i have not had any reason to complain against their way of doing business.. They have always been there for anything that has came into my life.. They have been My Insurance for several cars and houses at one time or another.
