YUCK – not a good experience with april barton's crew of hair stylists. they get an F for customer service and i got the distinct impression that i somehow wasnt "cool" enough for the surroundings. (i guess school teachers arent allowed) april's cutting style is not only absurd and hilarious to watch, it also strikes me as a tad dangerous. an experience I just had to share! – I started going to Salon Suite 303 about 6 months ago and have been there for different hair appointments from a hair fix to a highlight cut about three times since and every time I get really amazing hair. hard pressed to find a better Salon than 303 – I've been coming to suite 303. more specifically, Stefani for over 2 years now. At this point, I don't trust anyone else with my cut. First, the atmosphere and vibe is perfect, not overstuffed with chairs everywhere and assistants running with scissors. I can't believe this butcher job. NO to Stephani, she's not fully trained yet – I can't believe it. I went to Stephani about six months ago, and got a very good cut-- however , the reason it was a good cut is because April stepped in at the end, and fixed it all up. april bartons suite 303 – The first time I went to 303, I felt like I was in someone's home or better yet - my home..with my music! Definately not the stuffy feeling I've had from sooo many other salons in the city..The location alone is quite the experience& The walls surround you with awesome pieces of art that change..i have to keep going back! Best Haircut in NYC – I went to April Barton's Suite 303 in the Chelsea Hotel. It was an amazing experience! The service was friendly, the music was great and the atmosphere was creative. It was the closest thing to getting a haircut from Edward Scissorhands! She appears to be channeling artistic energy from the haircutting gods above. The result was the best haircut I've ever had and trust me I've had many! I strongly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a salon that's anything but ordinary.
