Scott Cundiff of Appraise the Rockies was prompt and professional. He understood that we were under a rapidly approaching deadline and made sure he acted quickly and efficiently to provide us with an important service. I didn't rate all 5 stars because I have no comparison data, but we are satisfied with Scott's services.
The report was due YESTERDAY and they changed the due date on their own from YESTERDAY to tomorrow! UNPROFESSIONAL.
Not experienced enough. Appraisal was inaccurate. Said it was a 2 bedroom when county records show 3 bedroom and so does the realtor. His comps where MUCH lower than comparable in area. LOWER than assessed county taxes! He list a fax# but said he didn't have a fax? Tried to have him email the report but would not work. Finely had to pay to get report e mailed. If your trying to get a FAIR (assessed) value of your home, you will be sadly disappointed, especially if your home is out of the norm. Other than that really nice guy... read more
Scott walked through the house and spent about 20 minutes making measurements. He asked me for half of the total cost of the appraisal up front. A couple of days after he came by I was advised by my attorney and mediator to cancel the appraisal. I asked Scott to do so and asked for a reasonable (not all) amount of my deposit to be refunded. He refused, stating he had done a lot of work so far. He sent me part of a different home's appraisal with my address filled in. If I could give a lower score I would.
Communication is a big deal when handing over money to someone you don't know and have never met. Scott Cundiff, of appraise the rockies, was patient and understanding and willing to help make develop a comfortable relationship to sustain an appraisal deal. Great job from a satisfied homeowner.
