Food was good, but service was absolutely terrible. We got our appetizer before our drinks. Then waited almost an hour for our food. Tables that had left shortly after we arrived were still dirty when we left and there was a ton of people waiting to be seated. Won’t be back.
We go to Applebee's quite often. Mostly the one at the Ocean County Mall. Great food and great service. However, we were in Forked River today and decided to stop in to this Applebee's. When I sat down I saw an ant crawl by. I figured ok, not the end of the world, one ant. During the course of our time at our table a few more walked by on the table. Told the server and she said "that's not good!" We told her to tell the manager and she said she would...somehow I doubt she did. Won't be going to that Applebee's again.

RecommendedI’ll start this off by saying that the food during our visit this past Friday was delicious as it’s always been. That being said I feel this location suffers from the same issue we experienced at the East Peoria Location. No sense of urgency or not enough staff in the front of the house. RecommendedMy experience with the staff and the food was great!!! However, there was a couple seated directly behind us that was watching a movie the entire time that we were there and they had it up so loud and the vulgar language that was spewing from it was disturbing. There were children seated on either side of us and I turned around and gave them the mom stank eye a few times and said i cant believe u have that on in a restaurant but nothing changed!
