My favorite stop on the Fruit Loop. Warm berry cobbler, jams to taste, $1 coffee while you browse, and beautiful handsewn aprons! Nice staff, dahlias in the garden, the river right out front. I wish I could visit more often!
We had delicious huckleberry shakes! Bought jam but forgot to pack it in my checked luggage. Hope TSA enjoys the goodies....

I live on the coast of NC and received the Peach Habanero Pepper Jelly as a gift. I took it to a holiday party last night and folks could not stop talking about how great it was.
There are 2 best things about the Apple Valley Country Store - the jam sample jars for tasting (never can get enough ) and the pear dumplings with vanilla ice cream. There are actually many more best things but I didn't want to get carried away. Just stop and shop you can't go wrong - all wonderful local products.
