Good dealership I've gotten one explorer here and was very pleased with my treatment. I use their service department as well - but it seems expensive when I go there. Seems something extra is always needing fixing
Mixed Service I have had mixed experiences at Apple Ford. The service department is pretty good. They get you in and out quickly when you drop off your car for service. Unlike a lot of dealers I have been to they do not try to sell you every air filter, wiper, or fluid change possible. I have been pretty happy with their service as far as dealers go. P*ssed In 2005 I purchased a new Ford Ranger. This was the 3rd vehicle I purchased from Apple ford but it will be my last. And it will be my last Ford product. From the day I bought this vehicle I have had nothing but problems that should not be occurring in a new vehicle. Bad altenaters,batterys, air conditioners, alloy wheels that started corroding off the vehicle after 3 years and had to be replaced.......and most recently, with only 110 k miles (10 k over the extended warranty) the motor blew up.....completely froze up..... read more
Great Experience! I am so pleased with my experience at apple ford. My salesman was nothing but professional. He made it easy to understand what I was buying and helped me gain financing I didn't think that I qualified for. I will buy my next car here as I know I got a great deal!
APPLE FORD CAN GO TO HELL !!! Apple Ford's Collision Center TRI-STATE IS TERRIBLE! THE FIRST TIME I DEALT WITH THEM I WAS WRECKED INTO MY FRONT FENDER BY ANOTHER VEHICLE AND I DECIDED TO USE THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE CLOSE TO MY HOUSE. WAS NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE REPAIR. THEY MATCHED THE COLOR SATISFACTORY BUT I FOUND SCREWS MISSING AND THE INSIDE LINER OF THE FENDER NOT REPOSITIONED CORRECTLY. LIKE THEY SPENT AN HOUR ON IT BUT HAD IT FOR OVER A WEEK. not recommended Find somewhere else to buy your vehicle. Very unprofessional. Salesmen are too busy smoking cigarettes at the front door of the dealership. I was seated by the front disk at one of their round table inside to be helped. 20 min later I was asked by a salesperson to find another place to sit at. When I politely informed him that I was seated by their front disk person for help, he raised his voice and in a rude unprofessional manner he asked me to move on. I got out and never came back. not recommended
Watch out! In my opinion, find somewhere else to go! In my case, while the car was in for repairs they broke the key off in the ignition. If Apple had an ethical and responsible repair shop they would have simply repaired the damage they caused. This what Apple did. In the body of a 3 page repair bill, under an item labelled 107580, they reported they had broken the key off inside the ignition. Shame on me, I didn't actually read the repair bill word for word. Of course, no one verbally informed me of the damage at the time ... read more
AVOID APPLE FORD!!!! AVOID APPLE FORD AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Purchased a new 2010 F-150 Lariat from Apple Ford. While waxing the truck at home, I found pre-existing paint chips with rust down to the metal. Took the truck back to the dealership,and the service guy had me take it to a body shop for appraisal. Mad I bought a 2006 Ford Mustang -new, from Apple Ford in Columbia, MD. I also purchased the extended 5 year warranty as I was driving my children back and forth from school every day and knew I was putting on about 100 miles a day just from school and work. Before my original 3 year warranty was up, we brought it to the attention of the manager that there was bubbling of the paint on the very front edge of the hood.
