Loved the food and the people! We will definitely be coming back!
We have our class breakfast at the Bixby Apple Barrel for several years and have never had a problem. I have my favorite waitress but the only time I have experienced bad service was one Saturday when they were packed and I think it was a new waitress. Their portions are very generous and breakfast is the best. My friends and family all love to meet there.

We ate breakfast here yesterday and it was awesome as usual! We have never had a bad meal here. We ate about 11 a.m. and didn't eat the rest of the day (and I didn't even come close to finishing my breakfast)! Very large portions! Waitresses were great!
The food was awesome. Service was excellent. You feel like you are at home with family without acutally bing there.
I've been going here for years because of the food but today was my last straw with the terrible customer service. I ordered like we always do to go my wife a 7-ounce steak well-done and myself a 12-ounce ribeye medium rare. They messed up on my order which is okay it happens of course it happens about half the time here but that's another story so I called them they said they have my steak ready when I get there to bring the old one. Lord I hope this one is better than the one in Broken Arrow we went to last night . Waitress couldn't take an order correct , we ordered 2 appetizers, 2 meals . Never got the appetizers , got chicken fried chicken not the chicken fry steak. This was after she came back twice to confirm it . Multiple parties left after waiting an hour and still no food . I had heard good things about Apple Barrel but never going back as the experience was a joke .

Best food around...very large portions....friendly and attentive service.Has a nice, comfortable atmosphere.Well worth the reasonable prices.I even spoke to the owner about opening a Muskogee location!! Yes!!!
They were great when they opened but quality has slowly gone down. Biggest pet peeve is boiled bacon. Even asked to waitress to make sure it's crispy and still got gross half cook bacon. Grits were cold too. Last chance. I'm done.
