My wife & I ate here Tuesday afternoon...Took forever to get a server to take our order...The soup that I had ordered was lukewarm & my Reuben Sandwich only had two thin rock hard pieces of corn beef...My wife didn't fare much better...The Roast Beef she ordered was plentiful but was so salty she couldn't eat it...Her mashed potatoes had a hard skin on them & looked they had been warmed in a microwave...We just asked for to go boxes, brought it home & threw it in the trash...I would not recommend this restaurant, nor would I... read more
We had the chicken fried steak and chocolate chip pancakes. They both were delicious. Our waitress was very good and never let our drinks get empty

The food is always good and we had awesome service the last time we went. My daughter left her favorite coat there. I was sure it was long gone because it was a very nice coat. However I was wrong. Our waitress, Ms. Jenny, saved the coat for us knowing we would be back for it. I am so thankful there are still honest people in the world! We will be going back to Apple Barrel very soon!
Thanks for the delicious cheesecake tonight to help celebrate my birthday!! One of my favorite local joints to eat at while in town for work!!
