The small yellow house, that Antica Posta Tuscan Restaurant & Bar is located in provides an intimate backdrop. Three separate dining rooms break the volume and keep the atmosphere light and personal. You'll be rewarded with a tantalizing fare of homemade potato dumplings in traditional Tuscan sauce. A great wine selection is supported by a full bar. See website for menu, wine list, online reservations, online gift shopping, gift certificates, and event calendar.

Downward Spiral – This place used to be great. My husband and I used to visit once a month or so. In the last year it has become increasingly worst and after our last visit we will not return. The bartenders that used to be ther were wonderful. After 2 visits we walked in the door and she had our drinks ready. The bartenders now would not notice you if you were on fire - not to mention there is a different once every time we visit. The service in the dining room has gotten continually worse. I understand their stress however... read more
My Tuscan Birthday Dinner Party! And I Didn't Even Leave Atlanta! – This past Saturday night, I celebrated by 39th. Birthday once again. And I wanted Italian. Something comforting about Italian. Antica Posta, on East Paces fit the bill. It's in one of those tiny little houses, that fit snuggly around Maple Drive. A beautiful bar area awaited us, with perfect dirty Grey Martini's. The little dining rooms are tight, but beautifully arranged. Close enough, so I could see my neighbors entrees arriving, and trying to decide from ... read more
Best Italian food and setting in the area – I have to agree with the other reviewer when I say don't always trust reviewers. To review a restaurant on ANY holiday is not fair, anyone that is in the business knows that. I recently visited Antica Posta on a busy night and had a great experience. Our server was very nice and seemed to know alot about the restaurant--I believe her name was Sonya. Regardless the food was great, and it reminded me of true Italian food. No fuss, just quality fare and the freshest ingredients at a g... read more
Don't waste $100.00 – I went out to eat at Antica Posta last night and I have to say I was extremely disappointed. The food was not good and the service was even worse. It took forever to get our food and even longer to get the check after we had finished. One of the other waiters must have sensed our irritation and gave us a free dessert because of how long we were waiting. We sat downstairs and it was so loud, we couldn't have a conversation. I had heard good things about this restaurant, but I will not be returning.
Very Disappointed – I have never written a review about a restaurant before. I have decided after my experience at Antica Posta I may start looking at other people's experiences before choosing a restaurant I have not been to before and also give my review, positive or negative. We went to the restaurant early to avoid the crowd. The waitress at Antica Posta was very indifferent and unattentive to our table which was downstairs. When we first arrived there was only one other table seated, but it still took forever to get dri... read more
Not that special, crowded, forgettable service – Our waitress was very indifferent to our group and we were crammed in with several tables in a high traffice area. It was difficult to get much detailed info from her about the menu...she didn't sell us on anything. She couldn't tell us if the meatball appetizer would be enough of all 6 of us. Not much more info on the risotto. We waited for our check & to pay. We had an early reservations so it wasn't a peak time. She didn't engage us in any conversation-no personality. Didn't... read more
Solid Tuscan fare; good value; attentive service. Don't listen to the whiners. – Reading other reviews makes me think one thing: you can't trust reviews! Having said that, I love restaurants, travel and food ... when I travel I rely on information from the locals and keep my fingers crossed that the whiney and self-important failed to log on and do what they do best: complain. I want anybody from out of town (non-Atlantans) to know that Antica Posta is a jewel. A lovely old house updated with a warm and friendly bar and open... read more
Don't waste your Time or your Money on Antica Posta! HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! – I also went on Valentine's Day and waited over an hour for my table. Dinner took us 3 hours from the time we arrived to the time we got in our car. In all that time we probably only saw our server hmm maybe 3 times and were only able to have 1 glass of wine b/c he never offered to get us another!!! I thought I was going to eat my hand until he finally brought us our bread. I wanted to end with dessert but after waiting 30 minutes for dessert and coff... read more
Owners should be ashamed of themselves – How difficult is it to provide average Italian fare, especially when you are running a limited menu to an underwhelming crowd of patrons on as special an evening as NEW YEARS EVE ? Antica Posta disrespected its old and NEW customers on this night through poor quality food from beginning to end. Sharing the owner's Italian heritage, I was embarrassed for them but should have rather been angry considering the price we payed for our meals. Details: Bread sticks/crackers were stale !
