Great Italian – I had some of the best Italian food in the city here. The atmosphere is very romantic. The food isn't cheap but it's definitely worth it. The owner seemed very friendly. In my experience, restaurant owners tend to hide in the back...if they're even at the restaurant at all. Antica's owner makes it a point to get to know all his customers. I think more restaurants should be run like that.
Excellent wine list, best service. Average food. – Had an above average experience at Antica Posta. The layout is charming. Great service. Excellent wine list. Real Italian flavors and true expressions of the dishes came a bit short.
Great food and even better service – We found this restaurant a couple days after relocating to Atlanta and made a reservation online for Easter Sunday. Turned out the restaurant had opened earlier than usual and therefore was closing early. The owner called us to let us know, but it was so late that he offered (insisted, actually) to stay open late for us. A piece of Italy....so close to home! – I used to think that I'd have to travel to Tuscany, which I am in love with, in order to get authentic Tuscan food. I have dined in many high end Italian restaurants in Atlanta, but none of them quite satisfied my palette. worst service ever – All i can say people be aware of the head waitress over there shes more like a jail warden and i dont know who gave her the right to treat the customers like dirt. i ve been in the restaurant last weekend and believe me i was shocked by her attitude and rudeness i thought like we signed in a certain boot camp program, whenever we ask her for something she ll be shaking either her head or the shoulders and all started when we didn?t get an expensive wine she was trying to sell us even though she couldn?t ... read more
Read Reviews First - Not Recommended – I wish I had read the reviews first. If I had I ould not have eaten here - lesson learned. The food was good but service aweful - just like all the other reviewers say. The non-english speaking server could not have been more disinterested unless he was asleep. Never Return – I dine out in fine dining at least twice a week for work and pleasure. What I expect for what I pay is good food and good service. I have been to Antica Posta before and always had an OK experience - never exceptional. However, this last time was the nail in the coffin. The food was mediocre at best but the service was aweful. good food ,bad service – been there the food was great but we didn?t have the chance to enjoy it. We had the luck to be served by one of the rudest people in town. Not very good one visit, but Great another!! – Been a couple of times... One visit was amazing!! Ordered the filet, and was one of the best I have ever tasted!!! Another time I was there was not so great. The food was average and pricey, not worth the money at all. The service was great both times, so that is a plus. I am worried about going back and spending that kind of money for a below average meal.
