Fantastic happy hour menu, sit in the bar area and cross your fingers that Jess is your waiter. Exceptional service.
Fresh swordfish. None better. Add to that Kendall Jackson Chardonnay. And nothing's better
Anthony's has the best red clam chowder. I have been coming to Anthony's Fish Grotto for 50 years....and I will keep coming back!

My family and I have been coming here for years! They always have the best service and great food. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
Our waiter was excellent and the food was delicious. I was very disappointed that they are not only charging a service charge but have doubled it in just a few months. Customers shouldn't have to pay because you're not willing to pay a livable wage to your employees. I doubt I will return for that reason. Raise your prices slightly if need be but don't insult your customers by making them pay the wages of your staff!
This review is not for the food. The food was stellar. Its so unfortunate for the staff in the back of the house to have all of their talent and skill undermined by extremely unprofessional and downright rude front of the house staff - from the lowlife scab hostess named Giavanna to the manager who apparently doesnt care one bit about how bad said hostess speaks to Anthony's customers. Wonderful service, ambiance and food. Met up with some friends from our Grossmont HS class and had a wonderful evening.
