Dr Shaia is a wonderful caring surgeon with a super bedside manner. I put up with hip pain for many years due to fear. Dr Shaia eased my fears, preformed the hip replacement in March 2017. I am completely satisfied & have total trust in his professional advice.

Dr. Shaia is very thorough and cares about my care. Dr. Shaia explained the issues regarding my knee and he has a plan in place to address these issues. Being able to talk with him helped me so much put my mind at ease. I am so glad I went to Dr. Shaia. A great doctor!
He is an absolutely top notch physician. He has done 2 knee replacements on me. He is very good at judging what you should and shouldn’t do before and after surgery to get the best results. He does a fantastic job on the surgery itself. Yesterday I saw the xrays of both knees, one done 6 years ago and one a year ago. They both look great. After both I was back teaching, dancing, and taking ballroom lessons. At 4 months I did a showcase. No side affects, not bad scars at all. He helped me better understand what was going on with my back & gave me good advice on how to remedy the problem.
I can always count on Dr. Shsia. He replaced mr hip in 2015 and has had no problem at all. When I call for a problem he is willing to see me no matter how busy he is. I would not go to any orther hip or knee doctor. I would recommend everyone to look him up and go see him. The best bed side manners. If you ever have to go to Ortho On Call ask to see Dr Shaia if you have to have your hip or knee looked at. I could go on but, hoprfully you all will find out yourself.
He was friendly and no nonsense. He willingly answered my questions.
Very informative. Good guidance. Already seeing results from shots in the knees. Confident that when time for surgery I’m in good hands.
My overall experience with Dr. Shaia was excellent. After several years of arthritis pain in my left hip and right knee, I'm now walking around pain-free. I'd certainly recommend him!
