I thought this was a good insurance company at first, but they completely screwed me over. I will be looking for a different insurance company or provider that can actually accommodate my needs anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield cannot do that. People do not waste your time
Absolutely unacceptable experience with Anthem BCBS. This company has repeatedly denied legitimate medical claims, failed to pay bills, and refused to provide clear documentation for their denials. Services that are clearly medically necessary, such as X-rays and other diagnostics, have been arbitrarily denied with no valid explanation. Get hung up on while trying to make a basic call about my health insurance everytime. Is this a real service? A 1.4 ratng out of 5.0 should wake some people up there.
I need surgery on my back. The top neurosurgeon in CT was scheduled to perform the surgery on April 10th, 2025. Because Anthem BC/BS denied one of the codes for the surgery, I cannot go forward. All other codes for the surgery were approved, only one was denied. I believe, because I have met my high deductible, the insurance company is trying to avoid me having the surgery, until renewal in July.
