Absolutely amazing place to visit..I really enjoyed the park
A very beautiful place to spend an afternoon enjoying the California Poppies. Colors are gorgeous. There are picnic tables if you wish to make a full day of it by bringing a lunch. Be prepared for a lot of uphill walking. And I think I would avoid going on a weekend. I was there on a Friday afternoon and there was a long line to get in. Better yet, park on the street and walk in.
Beautiful! But it takes intirely too long to get through the line just to pay $10 to park and people that park on both sides of the road outside of the entrance and it makes it dangerous for both the people driving and people walking or crossing the road.
Gorgeous! Just wish it was easier to get parking and get into the reserve. With it being such a popular place this time of year they might want to consider an officer directing traffic at the entrance to avoid traffic back ups on the 2 lane country street.
Spectacular place, fabulous even when it's not ready :)
