Awesome place. It was so beautiful that it looked surreal. Go early to avoid the crowds.
Super well run place. Trails are well maintained and it was really nice they had staff to direct traffic. The website witb staus updates on the blooms was really helpful too!
The beauty of the poppies, mountains and sky are well worth the drive and parking hassle. Come early, pack a snack, and enjoy hiking the trails.
The reserve was spectacular! It was a little bit of a cluster but we made it work. Don't bring your dog unless it is a service dog. They won't allow it on the trails. We were there 3/26/17 and everything was bursting with color. They have a small picnic area and bathrooms but be prepared to wait. It's quite windy so prepare for that too.
