Open space with a few hiking trails and lots of California Poppies ( when I visited in early Apr). Would visit again if there is a poppy bloom.
There was plenty of parking at 7 am. I would not recommend getting there late or you might get stuck in line. If you park on the road, expect a long hike.There's not much tree cover in the park. Bring water. Worth it!
