The center is working wonderful the staffs very helpful and friendly
I wasted 6 weeks at WMCC. 2 MRIS, CTSCAN, BIOPSY, and numerous blood tests. No diagnosis. Went to another cancer center in GR. Within hours I was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer and admitted into the hospital. Unfortunately I lost 6 weeks which in cancer time may be a lifetime.
I’ve had my share of transferring to different hospitals in the area (none of which are intentional) but this cancer center is probably one of the worst ones over ever been to. The building itself is so outdated and the technology they use seems to be from the 90s. I’ve been dealing with cancer for nearly 4 years and it just seems like they cut corners and pocket the money they make rather than putting it toward bettering the center. I, too, was scared the first day I walked in after my diagnosis of breast cancer. But, the loving staff at WMCC eased my fears. They answered all my questions and helped immensely during my treatment.
