It's been a year since I was diagnosed with HER2 breast cancer. Frightened ,unsure and wanting to be heard I felt I was seen as cancer with a name. I changed doctors and things have been great. Dr Tokalau and her nurse Ruth see me as a person who happens to have cancer. Not the other way around. Thank you both for being there for me
I was a little "iffy" at first, this being my first experience with cancer. I didn't know what to expect but felt as if I was in good hands when I left. I thought things moved kind of slow for the next couple of weeks, but after being there yesterday I feel 95% more confident. Everyone there is extremely nice and helpful. I was offered services I didn't even know they had! I am happy to be working with WMCC at this point and I hope to have a long, long affiliation with them.
They give us hope even though my mom is battling small cell lung cancer! I couldn't be as strong as I am if it wasn't for their caring explanations and information
Absolutely loved this place . I had my first appointment yesterday , my new doctor and his staff r amazing . I was a patient of Ann arbor , but got transferred here . They took time out for me , explained everything , and made me comfortable deciding next step
