I give this hospital an excellent rating. My 5 year old granddaughter has spent many many hospital stays here. There has been a couple of those visits where we weren't sure she was going to get better and come home. But this amazing hospital staff always goes the extra mile to do everything they can to make her better and the compassion is extraordinary. My family is pleased with the professional care we received from every staff member we encountered. Thank you for calming our fears. Last night was the first night I slept peacefully since we knew surgery was needed for my granddaughter. May God continue to bless Lurie Children's hospital!

My daughter went in for a ultrasound in her neck. The ultrasound tech was amazing and my daughter was so comfortable. They were great!!!
I give 3 starts because typically I love this hospital. The Dr my children see is amazing and I absolutely trust her. Most of the staff I meet is very helpful and comforting. However my last stay was not as pleasant as previous ones. My daughter had a hard time breathing and the nurses didn't even listen to her lungs. They did hook her to the pulse of monitor, which show her oxygen at 80%. I asked 3 times for someone to listen to her. After 15 mins her oxygen was back up, however I now don't know what caused this episode as ... read more
