Seems well organised and well resourced but at a loss to explain the 4 hour wait given it seemed empty.
So incredibly thankful for the excellent care my son received. He had a very serious life-threatening condition. Dr Alden and the rest of the staff at Lurie's provided amazing care and my son is doing well. He will be followed by Lurie's for years to come and I'm grateful that this hospital exists. My other son also had a minor surgery at Lurie's and again we received top notch care.
My daughter was here for 46 days in their NICU. She was born 34 weeks, 3lbs 14oz. She went through a lot but the staff here is phenomenal, they're so supportive, encouraging, and patient. Honestly it's like having an extension to family. They love you, your kids, and they do everything they can to ensure positive outcomes. Although it might have been the most taxing period of my life, I couldn't have asked for my daughter to be in a better hospital.
