No one wants to have to go to the animal ER but stuff happens. I've used the ER services at Animal Medical Center for 3 of my pets now. Each time, the staff were all fantastic. They helped me say goodbye to one pet, helped another to survive a serious illness, and treated a not-so-serious condition after-hours for a very upset cat. The staff were all friendly, super efficient, and explained everything thoroughly. I felt that my pets were in caring capable hands each time I used their services. Highly recommend!

I brought my dog in a few days ago and was there for four hours. She was bleeding more than usual heat, laying around, and wouldn’t eat her food. They tried multiple times to do bloodwork and supposedly got enough to do testing (did not draw in front of me). They said she was in heat and gave me something for nausea. They also gave me an antibiotic. They reassured me she was going to be alright, and she died. I called to let them know what had happened and felt like they didn’t care at all. We bring our pets here exclusively. the staff is always nice, respectful, and totally focused on the welfare of our babies. They give multiple options when possible, and always show them love.
I spent almost 2 hours there waiting just to be sent to another vet. The night Dr had double booked himself and did not come in. My cat needed sedation to fix her problem and they knew it. It was obvious. They decided since the Dr would not be there during the night it would be best to go some where else.
Everyone at AMC was wonderful to us this week as we went from thinking our 17 year old cat just needed an antibiotic injection and fluids to recover to having to decide to put her to sleep today. We are so appreciative of the one on one time each vet and technician gave us in person and on the phone. Many thanks to Dr. Skully who walked us through the decision of how to proceed today. We hate to lose our sweet girl, but we couldn't stand to see her suffer and have no quality of life. Nancy and Sam
