Dr. Hackett and his friendly, professional staff have been caring for our pup from day one. From sneezes to surgery and everything in between, they are thorough and efficient with a loving touch. We are new to Baton Rouge and happy to have found Animal Health Clinic!
My 2 dogs have been coming here for 8 years. They love and care for my dogs like i would. I also board my dogs here and they come back tp me happy,groomed and healthy.
I highly recommend the animal health clinic the staff and the doctors are wonderful been taking my dogs here for over 10 years highly recommend!!!!

Wouldn't know what to do without Dr. Hackett!! Best clinician ever! He has been all my pet's veterinarian for over 30 years. Also, Dr. Leonards is another excellent and thorough clinician at AHC. The entire staff is friendly, compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, and professional. Can not imagine taking my pets anywhere else! Being a healthcare provider, I have the utmost confidence in the medical and surgical services that my pets receive at AHC. You will not be disappointed.
We recently had to make the decision to give our lab Jake the peace he deserved after being a faithful and loyal companion for 16 1/2 years. I'm pretty sure the doctors and staff saved my dog's life. Barbie had severe periodontal disease and it was obvious that she was suffering. It took a while to save for multiple extractions but it was worth EVERY penny. It has only been 2 and a half days since she had quite a few teeth pulled and my husband and I are stunned with her progress. I went in on a small emergency for my dog, dr Hackett said I would PROBABLY need to send X-rays to a radiologist, but they would Call me as SOON as they found out. 500$ dollars and 4 days later I HAD TO CALL THEM FOR RESULTS, which they had! Classy work dr. Hackett and staff
