The Animal Emergency Room (A.E.R) is an emergency and urgent care facility that was established in 2000 by Dr. Danette Schweers. The A.E.R works with the local Veterinarians to provide superior emergency care. The Animal Emergency Room provides excellent emergency and urgent care by serving as patient advocates, counseling and educating each client, while finding personal fulfillment by exceeding our clients expectations. We are open overnight from 5:00 pm to 8:00 am during the week and 24 hours weekends and holidays.

These people gave my chiweenie an emergency c-section and saved her life. I will always be thankful for that.
I've had nothing but positive, professional experiences with this hospital for more than 10 years. The staff has met me at the door each time to immediately assist me and my dogs were seen by staff promptly. The charges were reasonable and always clearly explained in terms of what we could do to safely stabilize the situation until I could take my pet to be seen by regular vet the following day. We had a great experience here. We tried to get our dog in to a larger hospital and the wait was over 2 hours. Here they were able to see her immediately and provided top notch care.
Thank y'all for saving our little Gunner! We still have a ways to go but he's still here with us!
Thank god for this place, we've been here many times with our different furbabies. The staff here is compassionate, and go above and beyond to do their best to care for your loved ones. We'd come here each and everytime one of our furbabies gets into an unforseen pickle. We highly recommend them!
