The Animal Emergency Room (A.E.R) is an emergency and urgent care facility that was established in 2000 by Dr. Danette Schweers. The A.E.R works with the local Veterinarians to provide superior emergency care. The Animal Emergency Room provides excellent emergency and urgent care by serving as patient advocates, counseling and educating each client, while finding personal fulfillment by exceeding our clients expectations. We are open overnight from 5:00 pm to 8:00 am during the week and 24 hours weekends and holidays.

AMAZING STAFF!! I had to take my dog twice and both times, the staff explained in great detail the whole process. I was greeted the second time with the receptionist, Rich, opening the door and calling my dog by his name. He was so friendly and made the whole process so easy. I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you for taking such great care of my dog!!
Dr. Buck was horrible. The only thing that made the visit pleasant was the receptionist. I took my sick kitten in that was very fatigue & not eating. The doctor immediately wanted to do x-rays saying my 4 month kitten may have “fluid” in his lungs. Not to mention, after I asked her how my inside kitten can get fluid the doctor responded with....umm, umm. She also couldn’t take his tempt nor confirm he was a male. Took my dog because he was choking in not sure what they gave him but he’s eating a lot better then before I took him for choking and the dr and reception were very professional ��
Worst animal hospital, very unprofessional && dirty! Couldn’t believe how they treated my dog by just placing/leaving her on the floor at after she had a heat stroke....
Fantastic and very friendly staff. I was pleased how everything was explained in detail and what exactly was being performed on my ill dog. Thankfully, she only had one overnight stay and she is so far doing pretty fabulous! Thank you God and all the staff! Thank you! ���
I highly recommend this place. We took our precious 4 month old pit after a horrible accident on Sunday Feb.25th. it was so bad that she needed to stay overnight. The staff here went above and beyond for our precious baby. We can't thank them enough for all they did for our fur baby. � She is now on the right path to a healthy recovery.
I took my poodle in this weekend for an open wound. The first question they asked when checking in was “how much is your budget”. That should have raised a red flag, however I had no other option at that time. The staples were so badly placed on my dog they re-opened 5 days later. I called and ask for help but was told there would be an additional charge to see my dog. Long story short my dog’s wound is still open, she is in pain, and I am out $500 dollars. My sweet dog Pumpkin was very sick. She had just turn 9 years on November 14. On November 26 I had to take her in and I knew she was going to have to Cross the Rainbow Bridge. The staff were all very kind and professional. I hugged my baby girl before and during her time of crossing over. Thank you to the staff.
