We've spent 1400 dollars to get no improvement or even good advice from the people here. Its theft. After 3 days of bringing our cat in puking regularly, they say that they didnt see it for a little bit so hes fine. Their goal is to get your pet in and out fast at top dollar, they dont genuinely care, and when theres an actual problem they try to pressure it away. If you can go anywhere else, do it.

My bunny passed on at AERC and they’ve been nothing but nice. Giving me resources with a social worker and the most recent is a handwritten card that has flower seeds in it in memory of Daisy. It’s not easy losing a friend but AERC is making it as easy as it can be.

The staff here was absolutely wonderful. I honestly cannot recommend them enough if you have a veterinary emergency. Their staff kept me up to date as to what was going on with Mag and never once did I worry about a standard of care. As a first time dog owner, the procedures and outpatient therapy were throughly explained. I especially want to leave a kudos for their system of operation that they have in place during this time of a global pandemic. These times of challenge can be frustrating, but the exam system set in place... read more

The staff is amazing! My dog, Charlotte had to have surgery and they not only took wonderful care of her but they also sent me pictures with updates on her time in the hospital. I called a lot and probably asked a million questions and the staff was beyond friendly and caring with every phone call! Highly recommend!!

Front desk staff was courteous and concerned for the well-being of my pet. However, I felt the doctor tried to strong-arm/guilt trip me into a surgery (costing between $1,500 - $7,000) for my pet, a surgery for which my personal veterinarian, who had seen the x-rays, told me would have done no good. Furthermore, the emergency doctor sent me a follow up email which contained a threat to have me investigated for animal abuse, because of her assumption of trauma, despite my personal eye-witness account that there was none.

When my Blue Gold Macaw went into severe respiratory distress in the middle of the night Animal Emergency and Referral Center was there for us! Dr. Bean’s wealth of knowledge in avian medicine gave me comfort and relief in knowing we were doing right by my Calypso. Thank you so so so much to the whole team at the Oakdale location for taking such amazing care of my baby. Words cannot begin to describe how amazing you all are!
