My parents and I took my cat here for a visit tonight. My cat had been hiding under our beds not eating or moving all Day, witch is not normal for my cat at all. Later in the day he started having what we think we're mini seizures. He couldn't move his hind legs at all nor could my cat stand up on his own. When we arrived at the clinic the doctor took my cat out back for an examination. The doctor came back and proceeded to tell us that my cat had a bad ear infection. This vet clinic and Dr. Monroe in particular, outright lies to get your money and my dog was butchered here. If you have a seriously ill dog, RUN, do not walk, to more qualified emergency veterinarians. RIP Aliy.
They took such good care of our baby tonight. Everyone was so nice. The vet tech was so sweet and gentle with our nervous pooch. The doctor was awesome. They even sent x-rays and all information to our vet. We are lucky to have this animal clinic. Thank you everyone at Animal Emergency Clinic. ♡
the staff, as well as the vets are amazing! we brought our sick 7 year old pitbull there today with stomach issues. the vet she saw did everything to make her comfortable, as well as feel safe with him handling her! my dog has trust issues with strangers, but he got down to her level, & was so compassionate! he was also extremely professional, & he made sure we understood all of her treatment, as well as out patient care.. highly recommend this clinic to everyone! we left confident, & very satisfied!
My dog had a bowel obstruction that my local vet had been unable to treat successfully and the emergency clinic in Lewiston resolved the issue in just over an hour. He's home now, resting comfortably for the first time in a week. I'm breathing deeper ... And looking forward to hearing the thump of his wagging tail soon (as soon as his meds wear off).
I feel very very lucky to have had Dr. Baumann and staff care for my cat Jaxson. He had gotten into my daughter's hair ribbon, and ingested over a foot of it. The ribbon had become entangled in his intestines. Poor Jaxson had to have it surgically removed. Dr. Baumann literally saved his life. Not only did he and the staff treat Jax with care and professionalism, they were respectful to me and my family as well. This place is a complete joke. We woke up one morning to find our cat had an abscess on his leg, and needed treatment right away. It was on a Sunday, so banks were closed...we explained to them over the phone that we wouldn't be able to pay that day and they told us to bring him in anyway, that they wouldn't turn him away. However this had changes by the time we got there! $100 dollars for them to tell us they can't treat him because they need payment the same day. These people don't care about animals, only about the money.... read more
