My family & I cannot express enough the gratitude we have for the staff here. We rolled up in a panic, with an emergency with our almost 9 year old dog, and literally every aspect of the experience was positive and caring. We were irrational and emotional, and they were calm. Our big girl is now on the mend, and that is because of the care and treatment she received here. Thank you again.
A couple of weeks ago my little five-pound Pomeranian got caught in the middle of two 70-pound housemates and suffered a proptosis (her eye was bulging out of the socket). I was able to get her to VCA Merrimac Animal Hospital within 30 minutes. They performed surgery and sutured her eye shut. Two weeks later, amid this Covid-19 mess, they removed her sutures and our girl not only looks amazing but has vision out of that eye. I am forever grateful for the compassion, care and calmness that was shown to us.
I recently brought my dog here when she got into some trash and I was worried something was stuck. The staff was so nice, helpful, and comforting during this scary situation. They cared for my pup as if she was their own❤ While in our individual waiting room, my dog was eager to go back into the back room again indicating to me she felt safe with the staff. Excellent around the clock emergency care. The doctors, vet techs, and staff truly care about the animals they care for.
Took my 14 yr old Dachshund into the clinic tonight and they were compassionate and professional. Cocoa had a cancerous tumor and started having seizures, they helped our family in one of the hardest situations weve been in . I cant thank them enough for their kindness and caring hearts . The staff and doctors are very nice and take the time to explain In detail the different options available due to the circumstances . They were extremely helpful and saved one of my puppies while my Chihuahua had problems giving birth. I highly recommend animal clinic to anyone with a pets medical need. I have to say that one of the worst parts about moving away from Williamsburg was having to find I new vet for my dogs. This is the best clinic I could have ever asked for, these vets truly do love your pets like their own and never push the most expensive thing for their own benefit. They do as much as they can for you every time without making you completely broke! Wish I could find a vets office like this in my new city.
