Dr. Himelstein is awesome as well is his staff. He is always caring and kind. He saved my life for sure. I believe he is one of the best. Wait times are a little long sometimes but well worth the wait.

Wonderful doctor! Takes his time, explains his plan. Very personable and caring man. Wants his patients to have their best quality of life possible. He often runs behind but definitely gives you his time when he is with you. He is supported by a wonderful staff.
Dr. Himelstein is one of the most professional and kind doctors I've ever met. He gives me heads-up about the long waiting time and apologizes for it. I respect such candidness. He goes over all my medical history, asking questions to remind me of info that I don't even remember. He spends sufficient time listening to my condition and answering all questions. I can see he is very experienced with hematologic knowledge and practice. He is very professional, patient, and thoughtful as a doctor.
My mother went to Dr. Himelstein for many years. She kept an appointment twice yearly because she was at high risk of colon cancer. A person who believed in doctors, she alerted him when she lost lots of weight and complained of feeling tired. She trusted Dr. Himelstein and expected him to help prevent her from this horrific cancer. August 2014, from an emergency ward visit, my mother was diagnosed with 4th stage cancer. DO NOT TRUST HIM. She died 4/2016.
Dr. Himelstein is careful, kind, clear and attentive to his patients' needs and anxieties. While the "wait time" may sometimes be longer than expected, he is worth the wait.
Dr. Himelstein has a great bedside manner. He seems to understand and he listens. The bad thing is I've waited up to 1.75 hrs waiting for my appointment. I put up with the long wait because I want him to take his time with me.
