Would never recommend this doctor to anyone. Disgusting bedside manner. To have your loved one call crying saying they would never go back there again to see this man, is beyond upsetting to me. I thought in medical school the saying was "Always treat a patient the way you would treat your loved one." He must really dislike his family!!!!!!

Because he is an excellent professional, humanitarian and psychologist, God guide him and continue to light his way. I had an accident and my right elbow was bad, also a doctor gave me a cortisone injection the same one that left my arm worse and I could not stretch my arm. The doctor helped me and I operate, now thanks to God and the doctor I am better. Thank you for every doctor, God bless you.

I fell and broke my wrist, and it was my first broken bone. Dr. Nelson was solid: professional, caring, he took the time for me to understand everything thoroughly... i felt I could not have been in better hands, and I believe I received the best care possible. His staff was excellent as well.

Excellent experience with a surgeon.....extremely thorough. Explained procedure (carpal tunnel surgery) clearly with expected outcomes. Being an educator, I very much appreciated his comprehensive approach using graphics, models, and scientific and anecdotal experiences to support outcome. Right and left hand surgeries...2 weeks apart ....all good Strongly recommended...

During this last surgery, I was most impressed by Dr. Nelson. He was personable and honest in regards to my options. He was very easy to understand and showed various visuals to explain the way the hand works. I liked having the surgery in the office with local anesthesia, opposed to a hospital or surgical center. It elicited less anxiety which helped me in the healing process. The med regiment worked excellent (tylenol and advil). I did not feel a thing. His assistant was great as well.

I had excellent results with Xiaflex. My hand is now almost perfect. Had surgery on my hand about 15 years ago, but condition gradually came back. Xiaflex was an excellent alternative. No side effects. Thanks Dr. Nelson.

I recently had carpal surgery performed on both my left and right wrists (one week apart) by Dr. Nelson. He clearly explained the process from start to finish. At the post op visit I did tell Dr. Nelson that I was most appreciative of his precise explanations and everything went just as he stated. No problems whatsoever. The Southington Surgi Center was more than accomodating and the staff was superb. I would highly recommend Dr. Nelson.

Dr. Nelson was informative, reassuring and spoke in terms of patient-doctor as a partnership. I was impressed not only with the success of the procedure but the manner in which he kept me informed and comfortable with him. He explained the options available and why he made the recommendation he did. I would certainly recommend him to anyone who has to deal with hand issues

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Nelson if you are in need of hand surgery. He is an awesome person and an excellent Dr. For me I had no pain and recovered very quickly and in time I was picking up the heavy pans of food. The only difference is that am able to sleep through the night now, no pain to wake me up. Thank you Dr. Nelson for giving me my life back! I own my own business and was back to work the next day light duty. By day 3 was at 80% by the end of the first week I was at 100%. He is the best
