Dr. Illig is excellent. He was as committed to resolving my pain as I was. He gave me several options and he didn't stop until we got great results. I couldn't be happier with his care. I have the utmost of trust in him. I also know other patients of his who hold him in the same regard. A gem of a person as well as a doctor!

After a few years of suffering with a very painful pinched nerve and prior treatment with a different physician, I was introduced to Dr. Illig and I am happy to report I am now pain free. His bed side manors are top notch. I was super nervous about getting a needle in my neck and he walked me through the whole process and made me feel calm and confident that I would be safe. Dr. Illig called me back with concerns or updates in less than 24 hours. Great doctor which I highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Dr. Illig enough. He is pro-active while being prudent and judicious about treatment courses. He manages expectations properly and over delivers on care and consideration. I have had significant, life-enhancing pain relief from his treatment for a synovial cyst and bilateral facet joint radio-frequency ablation. And, BONUS, if you are nervous while receiving injections he can distract you with the recitation of Shel Silverstein poems he has memorized.

I do not recommend this doctor. They ignored my serious symptoms and the complications that occurred after a procedure they proformed. They never admitted their mistake that caused a lot of pain, injury and distress to my health, that I now have to live with permanently. They come off as caring but if ones health issues are not resolved by PT or a injection, in so many words they try to convince one that their real health issues/pain is all in their head. Very disappointed.

I received “radio frequenct ablation” for lower back pain associated with spinal stenosis and bulging disc. Very well explained before procedure to know what to expect. Result was much better than I thought it would be. 80% to 90% reduction in pain. Everyone involved very courteous, helpful and caring.

Dr. Illig is an amazing caring doctor who listens and goes above and beyond what is asked of him. He is a very professional and dedicated doctor who truly makes a difference in peoples lives. I would have no hesitation in recommending him, and infact I have done on many occassions. I have been a patient of his for many years and will continue to seek his help.

I had terrible back pain and my Internist recommended I see a pain management Dr. I followed his instructions and the local Dr. I seen had me go as an out patient 2 times for multiple cortisone injections . Well it never worked so I suffered with back pain for 2 years until my orthopedic Dr. who recommended I see Dr. Illig. I had an MRI epidural injection and for the first time I became pain free. Dr. Illig is very easy to speak with and explained what my problem was and how to treat it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Illig's for about 6 months. I had fallen and hurt my hip in the Fall of 2015. At first, I was grateful nothing had broken, and thought the pain would eventually go away. Unfortunately, the pain became quite severe, especially if I sat for longer than 30 minutes. Dr. Illig was recommended to me, and I scheduled an appointment. I found Dr. Illig to be thorough and hopeful in his diagnosis. After 2 cortisone injections, I am 90% better with hardly any pain.
