He saved my life.
He's always kind, considerate and listens to his patients. I'm very lucky to have him as my doctor.
Do not go to him if you have melanoma! My husband was seen by dr Horodner after his melanoma surgery and he was told there was no further treatment needed, just follow up with dermatologist. Two years later, his melanoma came back , this time with multiple metastasis over a large number of bones and a lung mass.Despite the fact that his cancer was very agressive , he delayed his treatment because he was out of town and also because his biopsy results were partly pending. My husband was in terrible pain, the pain medication was... read more
Dr Horodner is a wonderful Oncologist. He listens well, offers suggestions and options...answers questions without rushing you...supportive of the patient's wishes but also provides thorough analysis of choices/treatment options.
This doctor does not provide a proper level of care especially when he goes off on leave. There is no continuity of care with his hand over doctor and during your time of most critical care he is totally missing in action. He seems nice on day to day visits but when things go south he is missing.
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Horodner. He was very thorough and communicated a high sense of trust in the five years under treatment until my cancer was clear. He volunteered to come in on his day off and go very much out of his way when I needed special help. Super hero level of care.
Great doctor. Very caring. Does not read patient messages & respond.
Dr Horodner is an amazing doctor! He was kind, compassionate and very helpful! I would recommend him to anyone needing a hematologist or an encologist. I am so glad my general dr referred me to him and that he was able to stay with me in the hospital, I couldn't have handled the journey without his help.
