Dr Wolff was professional, attentive and made the entire surgery as simple as possible for me. I definitely recommend him for hip surgery!
I was so grateful to have a doctor who listened to me and my goals and clearly explained my options. Dr Wolff comes highly recommended for a reason! Wait time was minimal and his staff was knowledgeable and friendly
I always feel that I am getting the best possible and most compassionate care by Dr Wolff and his friendly staff.
Dr Wolff was almost 3 hours late seeing me. When I arrived I was told he was running about 45 minutes late but if I cancelled my appointment it could be several months before he might have another opening. When I was finally seen Dr Wolff did not spend more than 5 minutes with me. Since surgery was not indicated he simply wrote me a script for PT with no further information or discussion about my condition. Very disappointing.
I am 18 years old and I have had BOTH of my Hips done by Dr. Wolff. I dealt with Cam type FAI and labral tears on both sides. I’ve recovered well and will be competing at the collegiate level for swimming this fall. I went to the absolute BEST!
In contemplation of Dr Andrew Barrett Wolff I am reminded of the words of a famous 60's rocker: No, you can't always get what you want. You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometime, you may find, you can get what you need.
Dr. Wolff and his office are by far and away the BEST sports medicine practitioners I have ever worked with. The care, attention, confidence, and professionalism with which I've been treated has been above and beyond. I have suffered from Cam FAI and a labral tear for 5.5 years. I was hesitant to get surgery at first, but 1 week post-op I am confident that I made the right decision. The operation went very well, I've sustained very low pain ever since, and I am confident I will recover well.
This was my 2nd hip surgery. My 1st hip surgery (NOT done by Dr. Wolff) was for a labral repair and hip impingement. I didn't have the outcome I had hoped for with my 1st hip surgery so I was referred to Dr. Wolff for a second opinion. Dr. Wolff came in and evaluated me and knew right away what my problem was-I had no labrum left. He suggested I do a total labral reconstruction. I had my surgery about 3 months ago and am doing absolutely wonderful! He is without a doubt THE BEST!
Very good Dr. for hip issues -- unfortunately he only accepts Tri-Care insurance and no other insurance. I am just disappointed I couldn't continue with him to get surgery as seeing I have Cigna insurance. I thought he office exam and diagnostic was very thorough and methodical. He was light-years better than the Ortho doc (Top Doc at that) that I recently saw in Baltimore.
