I haven't been to the dentist in a while and they were very nice, and didn't make me feel bad - the cleaning seemed good.
I am the worst patient when it comes to seeing the dentist and going in for check-ups just because I have an uncanny fear for them. However yesterday, when I went in to get a teeth cleaning, I was so happy to have met Karina. She was very thorough and explained every step of the process to me. She did an amazing job and and was not at all phased by my fear of getting a cleaning. Thanks so much!
I had an appointment today, but ended up with a sick kid at home. I didn’t want to cancel my appointment, but I needed to get my child to the doctor too. I asked if they could start early and/or go quickly. Everyone worked quickly and together to expedite my experience. I was in and out in 20 minutes. They’ve earned my continued loyalty just from this one visit.
I've been a patient of Dr. Velano's for a year now. He and EVERYONE at First Family Andersonville have always been friendly, professional and excellent at what they do. There is never any confusion or surprises over billing. They are very organized and detailed up front before any work is done. The staff was wonderful. I was so afraid but the dentist hygienist walked me through every steps she was doing to my mouth I’m so glad I picked this dentist office to come too. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a dentist. You surely would be happy with the care you receive. Brought my son, Liam, in for a check up. He's 3 years old. I thought it'd be a nightmare, but everyone, and I mean everyone, was super kind; The receptionists, Doctor Velano, Tetka--who is absolutely amazing, and some of the other staff as well. Liam watched some cartoons on the TV and was done within minutes. He left with a bag of stickers, toothbrushes, and kisses. Thank you, 1st Family Dental. Customer for Life.
I would recommend 1st Dental as an awesome and outstanding dental care place. You start out with a nice, friendly greeting from the front desk staff. The dental hygienist then takes care of you, with a follow-up with the dentist. All very professional. A special thank you for 1st Dental taking care of those federal government employees that are affected by the shutdown. My husband is a federal government employee, but his department was not shutdown.
The entire appointment went well. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My teeth cleaning went well the assistant was very patient with me.
