American Realty has a lot of properties to choose from in all areas of Grand Rapids. They are very accessible and provide quick service. They served our college rental purpose well.
Great properties available and employees are super helpful and responsive in all aspects of business I've experienced thus far. One of the maintenance workers came to fix a toilet and noticed a sink was clogged as well so he took the initiative to fix it without us asking.
Using American Realty has been a great experience, they are always fast to respond to any maintenance issues and friendly when you walk through the door. Only downside to living above the office is being unable to access laundry when the office is closed.
Renting through American Realty has been a great experience so far. The staff is helpful with answering questions and keeping us tenants informed. I would rent from them again!

American Realty has consistently shown blatant disregard for the needs and privacy of their customers. The houses are decent, but aren't worth the price. They claim to have their tenants' best interests in mind, but after renting with them for 9 months, I can tell you with certainty that this is absolutely not true. They didn't return our down payment, based on minor 'issues.' They didn't do a good job communicating and often took weeks to fulfill maintenance requests. Ancora is very unprofessional and does not know how to handle customer and were very childish with every possibly way of trying to get an apartment.
Had a showing of an apt, no one ever came or called.
I am so very pleased with the property that I am renting from American Realty. When requesting maintenance for anything they quickly come out and fix problems. They are very understanding and helpful when it comes to our problem and concerns. I am very grateful that they offer this review option to deduct late fees.
