Very nice group of people. Ready to help you out with anything. My roommates and I asked if it was ok to move in one day early and they said yes right away.
Overall, my experience with American Realty was not bad but nothing to write home about. With a large portion of their rentals being older homes in the GR area, there is bound to be things that are out of date and in need of repair. Thankfully maintenance was usually quick to respond and patch up the issue. My 3 other tenants and I were not too sure what the required cleaning fee was for as our property still required extensive cleaning upon move-in which was a disappoint. I've lived in American Realty housing the past two years and I have absolutely loved it! They're beautiful and the maintenance team is great, always quick with fixing things and very kind.
Our lease with American Realty was a love/hate relationship. Great property aesthetically; however, the age provided issues. At times the house was very livable with little annoyances (door knobs falling off, water pressure lacking), while other times it seemed uninhabitable (bat and mice infestations). I just hope our issues are fixed and the next tenants can have an enjoyable stay!
Overall I had a good experience with American Realty. Maintenance was timely when we needed them and were able to fix most of our issues. We didn't have any issues with money debates or management problems. However, I will say that the house did have a fair amount of issues that we had to call on. It seemed like things were more just patched up when we moved in and not totally fixed. This led to multiple things breaking and needing maintenance throughout our stay.
Loved my property and the location of my house. No surprise fees or anything. Asked to get our washer fixed months ago and the maintenance guy "fixed" it but it still doesn't work properly.
Overall lovely property, however maintenance was slow (waited 3 months for a screen replacement).
The staff is the best and easy to work with! I highly recommend them!
