My friends and I had a delightful stay at the Anchorage Inn. The beds were extremely comfortable. All in all, a charming inn with a whimsical staff.
Location is convenient.
Nice, average hotel. Close to Higher Ground and not a far drive to Waterfront Park. Nice picnic table out back. No old cigarette smell which is always a plus. Across from University Mall which has an awesome farmers market open on Sunday. Many great things within walking distance. Trader Joe's and Health Living down the street. Not bad price compared to other hotels in Burlington.
We loved staying in Sky Cabin! The views were breathtaking, and the atmosphere was very cozy. We enjoyed the porches and the detached outdoor sitting area. We saw several birds and deer while we were there.

An affordable comfortable place to stay. Very courteous and helpful. Would stay here again.
Breakfast is really good. Lots of parking. Close to the airport.
This was our first stay at Anchorage Inn. Usually we stay along Long Sands beach at another hotel. But due to the time of year we were visiting we needed a heated indoor pool. I have to say I was impressed. The rooms were reasonable priced, clean and maid service was outstanding. The only complaint was the fridge was old and small. Also there was no microwave. But luckily we were staying close to the office where they had a microwave and heated food if needed.
Picturesque spot, literally across the street from the beach. Third floor rooms have a great view. The beachside restaurant was good, quite convenient too. Lots of places to visit nearby. Comfortable beds, room had a small refrigerator and a table with 2 chairs. The air conditioner unit was directly in front of the sink (outside the bathroom).
