We were very surprised. Our room overlooked the beautiful ocean. We were on the second floor. Gorgeous view and not obstructed by the office building in the front. Their restaurant is across the street right on the beach. The food there is just OK. Also, they were NOT OPEN for breakfast. The menu says breakfast thru dinner. Nice clean room, air, wifi, TV and small fridg. That's all we really needed. Indoor pool and outdoor pools too. Their continental breakfast was not that good. While we were there we did have one issue with our heat. Since we were there in Sept and the nights are just getting colder, we were probably the first ones to stay there and turn the heat on. We called down to have it fixed. When we returned from dinner, it was fixed and very warm. Just perfect!!

We spent the weekend at the Anchorage Inn for my 40th birthday. We stayed in one of the suites. It was absolutely beautiful. When we walked into our room immediately we saw the beautiful gas fireplace. The bedroom area had a very comfortable king size bed with a flat screen TV. The living room area had a couch and another chair. It faced the fireplace where there was another flat screen TV mounted above it. We stayed at The Anchorage in order to attend a wedding. Our room, in the Atrium building, was clean and comfortable. There was a mini fridge and coffee maker. Coffee was also available in the reception area at 6 am. We had an ocean view, and a small patio. The location was great for walks along the beach. We will definitely revisit The Anchorage for an ocean getaway!

The motel was worth the price paid. Close to places we had to go.
