It was very good....stay here everything we are in vt.
Very friendly proprietors and staff. Excellent service. The beds had flannel sheets as well as regular linen. very, very comfy. The bathroom was suitable but the bathroom sink and mirror was outside the bathroom, not really a problem, just a bit odd. Also the the smoke alarm was missing and the wiring was exposed. The breakfast area was well stocked with plenty of fresh hot coffee, yogurts, cereals, fresh fruit and a variety of tea and coffee creamers. Great. I'll do it again.
The facility was very convenient and accommodating. the indoor pool was a welcome treat!
we just needed somewhere to sleep and let our kids relax. Every person working there was super nice, helpful, and kind to our family.
We had dinner one night at the Surf and Sand, and breakfast the next morning. The food was good, as were the drinks. Dinner the on Saturday was also good at the Lobster Cove. Luckily for us, my daughter and I arrived in time to get the last Lobster Pie which was yummy!
I stayed at the Anchorage Inn during a long weekend in November 2016. We stayed on the third floor in a standard room and have no complaints. The room was updated and had everything we needed. Indoor pool was great and the resort looks like a great place to visit in the summer when the weather is warm. Location was great. Directly across from the beach and a 5 minute drive to all restaurants/shops in York. I would recommend this resort for all types of visitors and stays.
My family recently stayed at the Anchorage Inn and we were happy with the room. The furniture is a little dated, but everything was clean and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
