I really wanted to like this place, but the customer service has been incredibly disappointing especially from the owner. On multiple occasions, I’ve overheard staff in the back talking about customers and laughing at them, which is just completely unprofessional. On top of that, whenever I ask the owner to cut my salmon a specific way, he openly looks at me rudely and seems visibly upset about the request. It makes for a really uncomfortable experience, and I don't feel valued as a customer here.

We got a dozen oysters to go and they were fantastic, even came with mignonette and horseradish, but the team went above and beyond with a hand written card for our pal’s birthday! So so sweet

Recently I purchased a frozen black cod fillet from Anchor. It's an expensive piece of fish, which I expected to be pin-boned before being vacuum packed. Unfortunately, the fillet had many bones inside, discovered after cooking. If a reputable fishmonger is not going to bother to pin-bone an expensive fish fillet, it should be indicated on the label, so that the customer has that information before purchase.

Perfect spot to stop by when you’re walking around High Park on a nice day. You can grab super fresh seafood from this market and enjoy it right on the spot. They also have a wide variety of options, including some semi-prepared items you can take home. Everything feels fresh and well-stocked. 👉 Honey Mustard Salmon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ($5.4) Really liked this.
