Big shout out to our friends at Anacortes Kayak Tours for our wonderful three day trip to Janes Island with Mel and Tasha. Our Boy Scout troop from GA loved every moment of our trip and we can’t recommend AKR highly enough. From our initial discussions to our goodbyes at the end of the trip, the service and personalized experience was amazing. We can’t wait till our next adventure with AKT!
We did a quick drop in rental of sit on top kayaks at Bowman Bay the other day. Amazing service by the AKT guide/rental agent Nick. The next day I stopped in to see their main office. The owner Megan was wonderful.10/10 I can’t wait to get back here to do one of their longer tours.

Had an awesome tour with Jake! It was a great way to show off the beauty of the PNW to friends visiting for the first time. Jake was fun to talk to and joke around with, told great stories, and taught us so many awesome facts about invertebrate reproductive systems!! We all had an amazing time, would definitely recommend!
We had a wonderful time on a tour with Scout! She did a great job sharing information about the islands and the wildlife that we saw. Wish we could have fit in a longer tour on our trip! Thanks for the wonderful adventure.
I rarely write reviews, but the crew at AKT deserve accolades. I was looking at taking my sons (8&10) our to kayak for their first time. The person at the office was super friendly and helpful directing me to my best options. And our tour guide, Noah, was extremely helpful, laidback, and knowledgeable- making myself and my sons super comfortable during our time on the water. We had a great time. Thank you.
First time family kayaking, we had myself, hubby and 8 & 5 yr Old boys in two 2 person kayaks. Fun day and great instructor! We learned a lot about the wildlife, scenery, and plants and had a seal pop up 3 ft away! Thanks Tate!!
