I was on the tour Wednesday night. The 2 guides James and Tasha we very nice, knew where to go to see everything glowing and told amusing stories. I would go out with them again and hopefully will in the future.
A must do when visiting the islands. We had some great views of scenery and wildlife.
My girlfriends and I booked one of the day trips to Fidalgo Island. First they worked with us as we all called in or online booked our trip to be able to put us together in a group - much appreciated! Then our guide was a young gal named Sammi. She was super knowledgeable, laughed at all of our corny jokes, fixed our broken rutter like a pro and really made our trip more fun! Plus the weather was perfect! We saw porpoises and several seals!!
Guides are well-trained and personable. Equipment is excellent. The guides understand how to read the currents, winds and tides and know how to find wildlife viewing opportunities.
Our guide Ted was professional, informative and friendly. We had a full day tour which included stopping at the Burrows Island Lighthouse for lunch. I’m nervous about climbing down rocks and he gave me great instructions on where to place my feet and hands so I could make it safely. We saw seals, a sea star, and lots of birds. He did a great job “reading” the sea to know where the winds and currents were so that we didn’t have to work against them too much. Overall, a very enjoyable day!
